Dr. Lewis H. Stephenson
Dr. Stephenson has lived almost his entire life in North Texas. After graduating from J.J. Pearce High School in Richardson, he attended Lubbock Christian University where he received his B.S. in Biology in 1982. Coming back to the Metroplex, he attended Baylor College of Dentistry where he received his dental degree in 1986. After graduation, he and his wife Janice moved to Mineral Wells for two years before coming to Mansfield to partner with Dr. Irving. They have lived in Mansfield since 1988.
At the practice, his emphasis has been in aesthetic and implant dentistry. It gives him great satisfaction to be able to help patients with their smile and oral function to help them live a more enriched life.
Dr. Stephenson feels it is a great advantage to be in a multi doctor practice, as it gives them opportunities to collaborate on treatment options for their patients. The entire staff views each patient as a friend or neighbor and strives to provide the highest quality of care possible.
Dr. Stephenson and his wife Janice have three sons: Ryan, Christopher, and Cory. All three graduated from Mansfield Highs School and their respective universities. They are all currently in graduate schools.
He and Janice are active members of the Mansfield Church of Christ where Dr. Stephenson serves as an elder for congregation. Janice teaches numerous ladies classes and retreats. Although Dr. Stephenson played baseball during his 4 years at Lubbock Christian, his real love now is competitive golf. He plays in a number of amateur events each year throughout the state and the nation. He says that his golf highlights (so far) would be winning the 2007 Chrysler Club Championship in Naples, Florida that enabled him to play in the 2008 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic and playing in the 2009 U.S. Mid-Amateur.
